2016 Board Members

Todd Delello

Todd currently serves as division manager for renewable energy at Gregory Electric Company (headquartered in Columbia, SC) developing projects primarily in the Carolinas and Georgia.

While studying for his undergraduate degree in economics, Todd’s career started at the USDA in Washington, D.C., working in the Marketing Orders Administration Branch. After graduating, he spent roughly 15 years in mostly marketing positions for leading companies in the packaged goods and durable goods industries: Nielsen Marketing Research, Nabisco and Michelin. Following this period, Todd began consulting full-time assisting small to medium sized businesses in the areas of marketing and operations.

This change in employment provided an opportunity to enter an industry that had interested him for some time: solar energy.

Todd earned a BS in Economics from George Mason University and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Greenville, SC, with his wife Viki and their two sons, Luke and Jake.

Philip Greenway

Philip served on the S.C. Solar Council Board of Directors as the Vice-Chairman from 2010 – 2014. He is currently employed as a Senior Engineer for Santee Cooper and spends most of his time as a Program Manager for the utility’s Custom Rebate Program and for the Standby Generator Lease Program.  He is the Key Account Manager for large commercial customers such as hospitals, surgical centers, utilities, data centers, and other critical customers.  As Senior Engineer, he is also responsible for providing specialized engineering and technical services such as Power Quality, Energy Audits, Thermal Storage, and Renewable Energy Interconnects.  He also serves as a Project Manager for the installation of all emergency power systems for Santee Cooper.

Kahn, and then for Spartan Food Systems as an Assistant Project Superintendent building Hardees around the Columbia area. New construction projects led to his interest to attend Clemson University for a B.S. Electrical Engineering Technology degree.  While attending Clemson University, he worked for the College of Engineering’s Department of Technical Services as an Engineering Technician where he worked on college contracts with local industries, Dunlop and Milliken, for specialized technical services such as high speed cinematography and problem solving analyses to correct production problems at their plants.

Sara Hummel Rajca

Sara currently serves as the Community Outreach Manager for the Columbia area at Solarize South Carolina, promoting residential solar energy in the midlands.

Upon receiving her Master’s degree in Political Science from George Mason University in 2006, Sara moved to Tucson, Arizona, where she was an Environmental Planner for Pima Association of Governments. In 2011, Sara moved to South Carolina where she worked with the South Carolina Wildlife Federation, primarily with the Rural Resource Coalition SC—coordinating meetings and events for the organization between conservation, agriculture, forestry, affordable housing, community development, tourism, and heirs’ property.

Sara has been active with the SC Solar Council since 2011 and has served on the board since 2012. She lives in Columbia with her husband, Andrew, and their two daughters, Bridget and Eleanor.
